Surely you would agree that making sure we are deporting the right person is a good idea, and not an undue burden of a minimum standard to be met.

well yeah dude, of course. it's very easy to prove that you either a US citizen, legal permanent resident (green card holder), or here legally on some sort of visa.

obviously none of these people meet that criteria, hence why they got the fucking boot and will never return because El Salvador's President is a fucking G and he ain't ever sending those scumbags back here fuck what any dipshit dopey Judge demands. Sowwwwy Fuckface Judge......:043:

No.  

In a sane world, yes I would agree.  However, we don't live in a sane world.  We live in a world in which they get free representation and their lawyers play the system and left-wing activist judges dream up reasons to let them stay.  Then, they let them out on while waiting for a hearing.  This is asinine since they are here illegally so if you play this 'catch and release' game the hearing becomes a moot point because they no-show the hearing then a warrant gets issued and if they ever manage to get caught the process simply starts over, catch-and-release.

This was a response to my comment about making sure you have the right person.  It's not that I don't agree with you here, but I must ask:  how much can lawyers and judges slow things down merely in the process of showing positive ID?  That seems like a quick and easy bar to clear, barely a speed-bump on their way out of the country.  But I admit I have no knowledge of how proceedings go in those cases.  

Just seems like if a judge were demanding reasonable evidence the person is not a citizen, that's a quick and low bar to clear, one which deportation personnel would already have handy in their briefcase.  

I'm asking because it seems the concern from "the other side" is the wrong people getting rounded up and deported, which SF claims has happened.

Understand that the concept of inadvertently deporting an American Citizen is thrown out by the pro-crime, pro-illegal-immigration left.  This is done solely for reasons of optics.  They want you, as an American Citizen to read that and think 'Oh my god, I could be deported'.  

Yeah, if you are an American-born (which in this context only means that your mom rather than you are the illegal alien) member of a violent Latin American criminal gang there is a miniscule chance that they *MIGHT* mistake you for some other violent face-tattooed thug and inadvertently deport you instead of the other violent criminal.

No, I get all that.  I'm well aware of the optics they want people to take in, and I'm pretty critical of the people here who fall for it.  

I guess what I'm asking is, what is appropriate for a judge to do in these cases?  Anything?  It would be insane to let a judge block every deportation for two weeks and make officials show their work to a judge (and that's assuming that these two-week injunctions even end after two weeks, and I challenge the people who defend this to look at the long history and know that it's BS.  At least some of these TdA guys that got deported already had every bit of due process they could ever want....they were still ruled by a judge to be deported.  Then Biden's admin didn't enforce it, let them go, and told them to come back at some later date when we'll deport you, because reasons.)  But there also would seem to be a need to make sure the same officials don't get stuff wrong.  I'm asking what that is and what it looks like.  What is, or should be, the line where the judicial branch rightly says "something has been brought to my attention by a plaintiff and this has to stop, at least until further explanation?"  Because surely we can agree that such a line exists and that the executive branch can run amok.

call me crazy but it’s probably a terrible idea to award that contract to a company that has failed so spectacularly and miserably building a commercial airliner that keeps having major issues and with their hilarious failures as a NASA contractor building inferior rockets that cost 2.5-3x their main competitor and just had to be saved by their main competitor bringing astronauts home that were stranded on a space station for 8 months because Boeing can’t build a spacecraft to bring them home.

Probably should’ve awarded the contract to Lockheed…
