Yes, and 46% of those people voted blue. Stack those blue Midwest votes on top of the NE, Mid-Atlantic, Chicago and the West Coast and it's over before it started. And the NE, Mid-Atlantic, Chicago and California will have the most power.

Yeah, but see, that's not an argument, unless the argument is people shouldn't get to vote or their vote shouldn't count if they don't vote the right way. Which is the way Republicans are trending, so I guess it tracks.

You only addressed one part of my post. Anyway...

I believe everyone should vote, and that their vote should count. Everyone should believe this. Trending? Where do you come up with this?

As a reminder, I'm not a Republican. I am a Reagan Conservative, I guess, as is my wife, who lived in California when Reagan was governor there.

Someone here had it happen to them and is now skeptical and discouraged.

Sort of, it's not a true proportional system but it does split them. Correct me if I'm wrong but they give two votes to the winner of the state and one for each Congressional district. Nebraska went 58/39 by the popular vote and 4:1 by the electoral vote. But you can see the incentive a proportion would make - a few votes more for Biden would make it a 3:2 split.
