I got to the gym in our building 4-5-6 times a week, interspersed with running and throwing, and swimming in summer.  It's a small gym, but functional.  I'd guess 80% of time I'm the only one there.  We have maybe 250 residents.
This area is prime for walking, and we do walk quite a bit.  At my age, it's a good thing to do.  My "running" is getting slower and slower,  the broken toe didn't help.
