I agree though that Trump was a moron talking about pets. Should've just stuck to the facts of the wild animals being killed and butchered for food by illegals (who does this, seriously?) and all the violent crimes being committed by illegals.

I thought Kamala did okay.  She didn't answer any of the questions and instead just switched to her talking points, but that's what any politician would do.

I would avoid the F word. I actually don't think it applies, for two reasons:

  • That word is far beyond an economic system, encompassing an additional political philosophy. It entails a political philosophy where literally everything exists to support and glorify the State. The word you're actually looking for is corporatism. That defines something much closer to our current system, where the corporations have (to a large extent) captured the political system with their influence as it comes to helping politicians get elected (or getting them voted out), in such a way that now the government is acting for the benefit of said corporations. 

It's basically a complete reversal of the word you used. In both cases the corporations and the government have "merged", but for VERY different purposes.

mostly, I think, wisc. always reminded me of the old-school way of doing things cleanly and correctly.  Maybe that’s just my perception, but it’s not something you see much of today.
