Well, the joke is, that's a picture of downtown Austin, probably from about 10-12 years ago.

@Cincydawg and a few others here will appreciate this:
I had a local Service Club meeting today for lunch, it is a club that my dad introduced me to.  Today would have been his 84th birthday so the Club sang the Marine Corps Hymn for him.  

From the second verse:
"If the Army and the Navy ever look on heaven's scene, they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines."  

I'm pretty sure you know a couple of those guards.

USC retires Caleb Williams' jersey. Seriously? He was there only two seasons. One they finished ranked 12th and another they lost 5 games and finished unranked.

We have not left for Isrtanbul yet, just took our son and his GF to the airport, they were here a few days before going to Europe.

We depart on the 10th and arrive on the 11th after two pretty long flights and a long layover.

DirecTV Disney ESPN: FCC complaint filed for anticompetitive practices (cnbc.com)

I got affected by this as the condo uses DirectV, so no ESPN for CFB season.  I went to a sports bar for a half yesterday.  Their seats are not very comfortable.  I had two Two Hearted Ales for $6 each and a philly sandwich which was mediocre.

We'll be gone next weekend anyway.
