It's fascinating, to me, that Harris has gone from being a mostly disliked afterthought to being hailed as a savior now, in a few short weeks, on the left and middle.  It's the sharpest turnaround I can recall for a politician in terms of approval numbers.

Were I her advisers, I'd keep her far away from any tough interviews or debates.

Trust me- that’s the plan and always has been. Just like their R counterparts who don’t like Trump, the Dems have never liked her or trusted her. But everyone is on board on both sides now, as it is just about winning at any cost.

It is really sad for all of us- this is how elections are done now.  Symbolism and social media messages and memes. Policy has little to nothing to do with it.

And the Dems are way better at this game than the Republicans.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

OSU has 41,000 employees and 7800 are teachers. You don't even have to look at the majors and degrees.
My department at Wisconsin had 18 professors and 27 support staff. I think it's wise to take a look and trim the fat.

I did not know OSU offered associate degrees.

Not a bad community college. Maybe the best in the country.

Well that's what a proper college does. Not every university can specialize in cheese development

Cheese development is essential to humanity.

Humanities are not essential to humanity.

Sure but you've got to have some degrees for the cute girls.  I mean, I know you know what engineering classes look like...

I'm thinking back, I think at UNC the department had probably 30+ professors.  It was a pretty large operation.  I looked it up, 43 tenure track today and 8 "teaching faculty".  This latter type seems to be a newish thing, I think it's very useful.

There were a lot of support staff.

Plus you need to learn how to talk to women. Showing up with a block of cheese only works on a few of them

Back in the day, I took a course in Astronomy, a subject which I enjoyed generally, I think I could have made an A on every test without going to class.  But the professor was very entertaining, and the class was about 65% coed.  The education majors had to take a "science" class, and this was it.  There were about four gals in our dorm in the class, and I took to "tutoring" them (yes, they were all quite attractive, and I did end up dating one for a while).

It depressed me, the level of understanding they had about anything at all scientific was ... depressing.  But they were cute.

I recall trying to teach them about the Doppler Effect by running up and down the hall.
