By the way, if you are pro law enforcement and anti open border, who do you think gets more control under your preferred ideology?

Voters and citizens.

One great thing about a vacation is almost zero politics and stuff over which I personally have zero control anyway.

Nobbody is going to change their mind off some social media post.  At best, you could learn how others think about a thing.

Do a bad thing, and cry and whine that the other guy is the one who did it.
That's Item #1 in the Republican playbook.

Socialism is no solution for America’s problems (msn.com)

A view from abroad.
The term "socialism" gets bandied about a lot, in the US as a "bad thing", but in reality is means a lot of different things to different people.  Even Bernie isn't a "real socialist", strictly defined.  Sweden certainly isn't some socialist economy, nor is Denmark et al.  Sweden dabbled in socialism in the 1990s and pulled back, pretty hard.

There is even a concept called "libertarian socialism", which is, well, odd to me.

I prefer the terms "free market economies" vs "centrally planned economies".  Most in the world are hybrids of some sort.

The act is so phoney it is humorous.

Clearing out a restaurant so you can bring in paid actors to pretend to like your candidate.

would you expect anything less? literally everything about the DNC/Democrats since the 2016 election has been fugazi. phony. fake. this is nothing new. these people have lost the plot, Trump has truly broken their brains.

they have to do this because Ka-HAHA doesn't have an actual grassroots swell of support on the ground floor. she never even received a single vote from the voters to be the nominee- she was handpicked by Pelosi, Obama, and the mega-donors and just given it. #SavingDemocracy.

Listen, I don't doubt that both sides have power brokers, and that the power brokers on both sides are chummy with the donors who are going to provide the funds. If the power broker doesn't think someone can win, and the donors don't think someone can win, they're going to try to change who runs.

And yes, I absolutely 100% buy that Obama is one of those power brokers, and a powerful one.

But I don't buy that he has anything near the power over the rest of the party that Trump does over the Rs. Trump will publicly and powerfully attack ANYONE on the R side that he thinks is being disloyal. And not disloyal to Republicanism, disloyal to Trump himself.

IMHO it is a difference not only in degree but in kind.
Trump is a former President of the Republican party who is running for a 2nd term and has won the Republican party nominee for President. And Trump has a pretty good chance of winning said second term. Obama already served his two terms as President. Can't run again. Obviously. Trump is obviously thereby going to have considerable power of his party as the official and current HMIC. Trump has power over the party and should have said power because: HE WAS VOTED IN by the voters to said have power of his party. Obama can't be elected. No one voted for Obama to wield the power he currently has, he flat out shouldn't have the kind of awesome power over the Democratic party that he does. It's flat out.....hint hint.....undemocratic.

To suggest that Obama doesn't wield massive amounts of sway and power over Democratic party is just patently false. And he's had said sway over the party since 2016, and there have been mountains of reporting on this done from everything from Axios to Politico to Jacobin to NBC News to CNN to Sy Hersh dating back to 2016. All of this has been well documented and reported from 100 different sources from every different aisle of the political spectrum. You clearly haven't read up on it- you probably should. Obama has meddled in the elections and hand-picked the last 3 candidates from President. I don't recall seeing anything quite like this in the history of Presidential politics. Every other President of my life-time- when they left the White House- they left the White House and stopped trying to control the candidates of the party. For fucksake W's own brother was running in 2016 and he never tried fuckery behind the scenes to ensure his brother would be the RNC candidate. Obama? LOL.

For the life of me it boggles my mind that people do not understand any of this.

The Republicans skipped a platform in 2020 and just said whatever Trump says is what we support. This time around they did bother to put a platform together, which as far as I can tell is mostly nonsense Trump talks about in speeches.
what's Ka-Haha's policy platform on her website? hint: she doesn't have one. she does have like 19 different gender boxes you can check though after you register to donate money to her.
