I had a buddy in college who I'd drink with on Fridays, and we'd sit around and jaw.  He was a hillbilly, from somewhere in the state, had a jacked up Mustang with glasspacks.  Turned out he voted for McGovern.  And was quite liberal.

He didn't have an AK-47.  That I know of.  Actually, a real AK-47 would be illegal for most of us to own.

You can certainly buy a "look alike" in semi, quite legally.  That's why I said a "real" AK-47.  

I had another buddy who had something like 80 guns in his dorm room and the trunk of his car.  We'd go out shooting on occasion.  He had an M-1 carbine, which is not a Garand of course.  I bought my Ruger .22 target pistol from him.

Not every voter in Manhattan voted against Trump, and not every hillbilly voted for him.

I'm not really an AK fan. I much prefer to fire an AR if I'm using a rifle.

Revolvers are my favorite guns to shoot.

I live in a liberal leaning area of course, but the vote in this county was 74% for Biden last time, as I recall, something like that.

I'm against ALL overgeneralizations.
