I clearly don't think a massive wall along the entire border is needed or practicable.  Folks seem conveniently to forget that part of my posts.   In my view, this should be any all or nothing scenario.  Have a suitable barrier customized for the location and how readily the area is traversed.  

Walls can work.  They also can fail.  It's not a mystery.  Build them where needed, do something else where they are not.

Legal immigration needs to be fixed first.  That will take a bulk of the illegal immigration problem out of the way.

There is a big difference between 200 thousand and 3 million.  Im going to enjoy watching you self destruct when the wall is built and illegal immigration is under control.  We dont need to change existing laws we need to follow them.

This country needs to do whats in its best interest and closely monitoring and controlling immigration is one of those things.

The era of purposely flooding this country with illegals so that they can be given amnesty and vote democrat will be over.

I am pretty sure everyone here understands no matter what we attempt, SOME illegal immigrants will gain access.  Nobody every suggested anything different.

MOST folks here think limiting that by the most cost effective and efficient means possible is worth some effort.

It's a STRAW MAN to note that folks will be able to get by a wall.  Nobody suggested otherwise.
