Catholicism is too widespread. During it's height it was all of Europe. It still dominates Mexico and South America. 

If "Catholicism" can include a Pole, a Frenchman, an Italian, a Spaniard, a Mexican, an an Argentinian, and then any number of post-colonial countries, it ceases to mean anything if you call it an ethnicity. 

That simply wasn't true with the Jewish culture. It has historically not been a "missionary" culture like Christianity or Islam, and as a result has remained very insular and homogenous compared to those.

And yes, most of the hysteria around October 7th about beheaded babies and gang rapes has all fallen apart by the wayside.

The attacks were bad enough on their own merit, there is no need to make up stories and sensationalize with horror stories designed to illicit irrational emotional responses.

The Israeli government after 6+ months still cannot confirm the "40 beheaded babies" story- and the NY Times reporting on that topic has already been debunked and blown to shreds 100 ways to Sunday by actual reporters.

NY Times being debunked is redundant. Lol

Their track record for truth and accuracy is beyond comical.  There are other credible sources and video.

This is remarkably shortsighted and lacking historical context. 

Things were not relatively peaceful for Palestinians living in what is essentially an open air prison or concentration camp in Gaza or Palestinians living in the occupied territories in the West Bank for nearly 60 fcking years. 

Given those facts, I am not sure of any other options the Palestinians have. (being a bit facetious of course)

The IDF by the way bombed a fcking refugee camp in southern Gaza and killed a few hundred women and children all because they suspected one Hamas militant of being there- and the Israeli government wouldn't confirm if the militant was dead or if he was actually a Hamas militant. You can watch the exchange with Wolf Blitzer (not exactly a Palestinian sympathizer) and the IDF spokesmen on YouTube- it was live on CNN- and even Wolf Blitzer was appalled by this strike and by the IDF spokesmens response. 

Former CIA director Leon Panetta said and I quote, "the Israeli's shoot first and ask questions later" 


Former US Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson the former chief of staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell in the Bush II administration said and I quote, that "the Israelis are patent liars" and says anything that comes from the IDF "is all propaganda."

Gee, I don't know. Maybe end the open air prison/concentration camp of Gaza and stop laying seige to that tiny strip of land with of your military (which they have done in perpetuity since 2005) and also maybe ending occupation of the West Bank, stop taking land for new settlements there. Israel just annexed another 2,000 acres in the West Bank for....new settlements in violation of international law.

Another complicating factor is that the Gaza Strip is a geopolitical phone booth. 24 miles long and 6 miles across, with a population density somewhere between New York and Seoul.

And your god damn right I am judging Israel for it's 6+ decades long illegal occupation and settlement of Gaza and the West Bank and of it's decades long history of something that has been worse than apartheid and of it's continual disregard for the life of human beings just because they are Palestinian and of their continual mass slaughter of Palestinians- something that has been going on for motherf*cking DECADES. This shit did not start on October 7th. 

Israel would not be able to do what it does without the full-stop backing and support of the US economically, politically, and militarily. Americans have the right and more importantly the duty to speak out against that and to try and end it. Israel would not be able to slaughter children by the tens of thousands without the US. The US is directly complicit in these crimes.
