Those are the type of clients I fire.
I'm considering it, and may do it, but I really do need the work after the slow start to the year we had.
To give a little backstory...this guy is from Dallas, moved to Houston (for unknown reasons). He actually has a business himself as well. He told me he wanted to move out of the city into the country, he's building a pretty nice place in the country. The particular area he is building in is kinda close to meth central. In fact, I have a cousin who is serving about 40 in the pen for murdering somebody (with a knife) on some kind of meth induced craziness, that happened right down the road from there.
He told me when we met up he had been broken into a couple of times. He has a storage container or two there, and some equipment. This is very much in the country, 1-10 acre spreads on backroads, a trailer park/RV park across the street. I practically grew up there, the school bus went by there everyday.
So I knew he had cameras from our conversation. Which is why I called him first and then texted him, at 6:24 PM that I was going to swing by for a site visit, to see how far they've come on the house pad and if we would be ready to drill next week. Still daylight, albeit the very end of daylight. I am going to chat with him this week. If I get any more bad vibes, I may bail. But I can see why he maybe would be pissed, since he did get broken into before.
