On a lark, I e subscribed to the local paper, it was a buck a week or something to start.  So, it comes, it's all colorful and glossy on the screen, but full of junk of no interest to me.  Well, shoot.  I go on line to cancel, no way, you have to call.

I call and get the usual menu and finally peck my way to a cancel option.  I sit on Musak for 4 minutes and some lady answers and asks for my information, OK, and asks why I want to cancel, OK, and then says she has to transfer me.  I get a bit annoyed.  She transfers me, 4 more minutes of Musak, finally get another person, have to give my same personal info again, answer same question.  FINALLY get it cancelled.  I hope.

This is another annoyance of mine, locally:

Midtown skyscraper proposal rises from dead, lands $40M in financing | Urbanize Atlanta

This is my day to be annoyed I think.  This is super prime real estate that is just an ugly hole.  I have no idea why anyone would extend them financing.

I don't understand any of it, they buy property for $22 million, build a million dollar plus sales center, and then sit, for over four years.  The going costs must be killing someone.  Sell it already.  Property all around that area gets sold for development often.

Apparently, some woman resident of that building went off on the HOA board and shot two, killed one, and then killed another person outside.  They were arrested at the airport, which suggests they took MARTA which is nearby that condo building.

We got advised to stay inside and there was a chopper outside for a while over the park.

I went out on the deck and looked around a bit and saw nothing really.
