You read my view on the matter, acknowledged it wasn't far off from your own, and now you're back on the same trope.
Your disdain exceeds your mind.
I pity you.
That was me that acknowledged we were not far apart- not Brutus.
So in my organization of over 1200 employees I am the executive sponsor for an employee support group for LGBTQ. It’s one of many that we have including African-Americans former military and women.
There’s a reason I do this and I will share a personal bit of why. My oldest brother has been openly gay for many many many years. He was at a high level, and on the front lines in the fight to make it legal for same-sex marriage. When that fight was win, I was the best man at his wedding. I watched what he went through for all those years and gained a great appreciation for it.
The group I am an ally for has a purpose of making everyone feel comfortable in their own skin regardless, in the workplace. Not to be Marginalized or discriminated against. I believe that is critically important and a basic human right.
I also think the overwhelming majority fell this way. Yes, even the “Rs” as you call them.
Where the differences begin- for me- and others- us to the question of where fairness ends and indoctrination begins.
Like you- I don’t believe we SHOULD have laws that require it, or ban it.
But here we are.
