So in these last few posts, I'm an asshole, against Jefferson, and against the constitution. Except that I'm not. Richt is never going to read my words or care what I say. So he's unharmed. Jefferson was confident that he'd done enough to separate church and state - and while he should have done enough, evidently he didn't. He couldn't have foreseen the radicalized law-making going on today (mainly state by state). He wouldn't fathom his neighbor being something like a Texas legislator voting to make an abortion virtually impossible to get, despite it being a totally legal act.

And I don't think there should be any legislation against religion, just that people stop making an exception for it. It's childish. Embarrassing.
