The people here, North Carolina, and New Palestine definitely had/have something to be mad about.
Texas too?

And you just proved that it makes a good distraction from other stories that should be news.

Who impacted YOUR life more - Epstein or Fauci?
The "it's a distraction" thing is sort of silly.

Huge portions of what people consume are "distractions." They mostly get called that because someone doesn't want to talk about them. Relitigating Fauci is almost assuredly not news, or at the very least, news at least as unimportant as the whole Epstein thing, mostly because folks currently running the country were really into it before they got in position to see them.

I am reminded by how, during the Obama administration, many conservatives claimed the economy was awful and that BLS figures like unemployment were being falsified.  Then Trump became President and nearly the same economic stats were now taken as being accurate and great, except by liberals who claimed the economy was in tatters (preCOVID).

The Biden took office and ... same thing, predictable "sidedness".

I find this sort of partisanship can be damaging to the individual, to the extent it influences investment decisions.  One convinces oneself the economy is great or in tatters and invests accordingly, and loses money.

How is the US economy TODAY in your mind?  About the same as when Biden was in office?  Or markedly better or worse?

The term "children" here includes girls 16 years old, right?  That's below "age of consent" in most states, but it's not a 9 year old either.  I don't mean to make light ot the situation in any way, they were "trafficked" apparently.

I can see how someone unwittingly might have take the flight to the island for what was described as a nice location and no engaged in sex with a 16 year old, or even at all.  Or they might have done it and not bothered to ask about age because "she looked 18".

I don't know of any real evidence this was some operation by the CIA et al.  But I haven't followed this closely at all, the storyline is repulsive to me.
Epstein was abusing girls as young as 13 years old. And spare me the crap, a 16 year old is a child that knows nothing at all and is ignorant about life and can't consent to having sex with someone 40+ years older than them. And call me crazy, but I consider a man in his 50s and 60s having sex with a 16 year old as a fucking disgusting person and a criminal.

The middle part is obviously true, not everyone he is taking flights with and having dinner with were party to his sexual crimes. And the guy wouldn't compile a "client list" or even do the blackmailing himself. That is just not how an access agent works. The intel agencies would have the blackmail material he is helping to procure and they are the ones doing the blackmailing- not Jeffrey Epstein. And not to mention, it's not as if every person he is meeting with is blackmail-able. He would no doubt be trying to get to close to as many powerful and elite as possible to get information. He's not going to be able to blackmail everyone, despite what the public may think not every extremely rich and powerful person is into cheating on their wives or diddling kids.

One of the stranger things about the whole Epstein saga is that the man plead guilty and was publicly convicted on prostitution charges for having sex with a 14 year old child in that ridiculous deal of a lifetime that Alex Acosta gave him- and the elite of the elite still continued to hang out with him. I don't know about you but if someone that I am acquaintances/friends with pleads guilty to having sex with a 14 year old child and gets convicted- yeah I'm not going anywhere near them ever again. The fact that someone like Bill Gates kept coming around the guy gives off major red flags about Bill Gates.

And yes, there is plenty of real evidence he had ties to CIA, MI6, Mossad, and even GIP. And yes, the storyline is very repulsive.

We moved to Florida, so we escaped a lot of the draconian shit.

Now, I will say we got the vaccine as we wanted to travel. I regret that very much.

I resent a whole lot about that period. So much misleading and frankly false information.

Neither one impacted my life that I know of.  I do know Trump have Fauci a Presidential Commendation.  Maybe it was the autopen that did it.

President Trump Awards Presidential Commendations to Operation Warp Speed Team – The White House

My simple point is Bondi is the individual most responsible for turning Epstein into a current story with rumors and innuendo and speculation now running amuck.

I don't really care much about Epstein now, but I find all the furor today to be "interesting".  Democrats think  the "list" is being withheld because Trump is on the "list".  I've even read somewhere that "the list" was already made public, somewhere.  If so, this is a lot of entertainment about something being withheld from the public that was already made public.

The list is public, easy to find with a simple google search.

You must’ve been the only person in the world not impacted by COVID, congrats?

I've been out of town and off the grid for the past 5 days.  Did federal aid workers deny Texans their assistance based on political affiliation?  'Cause that would be bad.

I was impacted by COVID, yes, as were we all.  I never said otherwise.

The response there has been terrific. People at the state, county and local levels have openly stated how the Feds have performed so very well.

The Epstein crap was surfaced by Bondi.  Without her, this is not a news story at all.
yeah, it'd still be a story but it would do the usual 24 hour news cycle then go away thing. she is the main reason this thing is blowing up in their face the way it is though because of her opening up her trap.

And it keeps you people from talking about the abuse of pardons.

What did Fauci need a pardon for anyway?

Would you say the response has been perfect? There were reports of thousands of calls to FEMA going unanswered because of an issue with call center contracts. That also seems bad.

But that's a good point on it. No response will be perfect. And the political filters will highlight the bad in one case shine over it in others. (In that case, that person doing that was real bad. There was, as far as I read, little indication if was much beyond one monstrous dipshit)
