Who stated that? "Heard the name don't know who it is" or "I may not have been exposed by my classic rock station"  isn't the same thing. Chances are that if you changed your name to Legend - you're not.

I think a big part of the issue is we all consume music via streaming apps now.  So we only hear music we already told it we like, or music that sounds like it.

I found Pandora to be really interesting back in the day when it was new (thinking this was late 2000s?). I suspect they were missing deals with a lot of popular artists but had a lot of obscure ones, and I definitely found a lot of obscure artists that I wouldn't have come across.

I don't know if now that we're 15+ years beyond that, if they have enough of a music catalog that most of what they play are decently known mainstream artists... 

What's your experience? Are you constantly finding a bunch of no-name artists popping up (that perhaps you enjoy), or is it more mainstream?

Speak for yourself,maybe that's why I'm not familiar with and further more don't give a shyt about the Legend being discussed.Prolly the most clicks his name has garnered in a while

They aren't missing anything that I can think of, other than Prince.  Prince's estate has kept his IP on lockdown.

Well then I'd say the opposite.  If you listen to over the air or satellite current radio, he's on all the time, so that's on you.  Not that you have to like him

I had XM in the car for a while when I was driving to work.  I had it again when we bought the new one, almost never used it.  They keep sending me mail to reactivate for $4 a month.  Plus tax.

My wife listens every day all day nearly to "French Classique", she puts it on the main stereo at times, it's quite good, for us.  But they play REALLY old stuff usually, which I guess is why I like it.

Head coach Kirby Smart joined a select group of head coaches who have been among the fastest to reach the century victory mark in their career as he reached 100 wins tonight in just 117 games with the road win over #1 Texas. That ranks tied for fifth fastest with Knute Rockne (100-12-5 at Notre Dame) and Chris Petersen (100-17) with Boise State and Washington.


It's a bit easier these days in one way, but they all have 100 wins and 17 not wins (of those tied).
