easy problem to solve....

a) continue to expand early voting so people can cast their votes well before election day.

b) election day should be a national federal holiday where people have work/school off mandated by law.
We provide people with PTO so they can go vote - and come back with the "I Voted" sticker.

I'd estimate the vast majority of Hollywood starlets lean left and support the Democrats, so I can't really agree that all Democrat women are ugly.

Activists and official spokeswomen? Sure, maybe, I guess.  I've never bothered to worry about it, since it's irrelevant to the issues at hand.

I am pretty sure the attractiveness of women is not dependent on their political leanings, or vice versa.

Oh and I don't care about it at all, other than I just find it hilarious and am trolling a bit. ok maybe more than a bit.

No, they support Democrats because they are liberal idealists who are completely out of touch with reality.

Wealthy, "educated" folks trend liberal, but mostly is an urban thing, folks in cities trend liberal pretty hard.

this is incredible....Michelle Obama railing against wealthy people.....meanwhile her husband raised more money for his political campaigns from Wall Street than any previous candidate in history, his entire first cabinet was pretty much hand selected by Citigroup, one of his very final acts as President was to bail out private equity landlords, her husband gets paid $700,000 per speech by Fortune 500 companies and PE firms and has a networth of nearly $100 million. Even though the guy has never held a real job in his life outside of politics. Oh, and not to mention she lives in a $20 million compound on 30 acres in Martha's Vineyard and owns two other houses worth in excess of $10 million.

She definitely took more than she needed from Spotify. $25 million deal was suppose to be for her and her husband to create and star on podcast content. The rub? They refused to appear on episodes more than 8 times. Per year. And the ratings sucked. Gee why would the ratings suck? Lol. So, Spotify dropped them.

it's incredible how out of touch these people are and how much these people lack self-awareness...:043:

Yeah I guess one thing you can say for Trump, is that you're not likely to ever see him bashing rich people... :)

We hear a lot from the left on how he is so buddy-buddy with Wall Street.

Newsflash: He isn't.

Wall Street much prefers people it can buy.

Speaking of jobs, this morning the Bureau of Labor Statistics will release its preliminary benchmark revisions to net payroll growth for the 12 months ending in March. Economists expect net job gains to be revised down by 500,000, Bloomberg said. That would be the largest downward benchmark revision to payrolls since 2019. While this data is a bit old, any major drawdown might spark new concerns about the health of the U.S. jobs market.

I-285 at I-20 west of Atlanta, one of nation’s worst traffic bottlenecks, to be rebuilt (ajc.com)

The eye-popping $4.6 billion Ga. 400 express lane project grabbed headlines at last week’s State Transportation Board meeting, overshadowing the $1.2 billion rebuilding of the I-285 interchange at I-20 west of Atlanta, which was approved by the board just minutes before.

Folks often complain locally that we spend so much on highways and not enough on mass transit.  I suspect many of them never use MARTA, but whatever.  It is a bit eye popping to me, but more hard rail these days is simply not affordable here.  They have some light rail proposed, and "express bus lanes" in places.  The buses I see are rarely half full if that.
