No. The moon doesn't have a magnetic field, so any gases would be blown away over time by the solar wind. It can't support an atmosphere.
Is it not protected by the Earth's magnetic field?

I like how the party obsessed with freedoms is also the party that bans everything.
You people banned drinking straws, ffs.

Yes, plastic straws are bad, but hypodermic needles are fine.

Sheer brilliance.

Wait, so because CA has a governor who is a clown stupidly banning things, that somehow makes the FL governor stupidly banning things ok?

Again, I have not yet been provided with a rationale for why lab-grown meat should be banned? Is there any rationale at all?

Aurora

Apparently it can be, but only for 1/4 of its orbit: https://www.washington.edu/news/2007/12/11/earths-magnetic-field-could-help-protect-astronauts-working-on-the-moon/

When the earth is basically between the sun and the moon, it seems it would offer some protection. When the moon is between the earth and the sun, however, I would think it's completely unprotected.

No, you do.

Please quote any post I've ever advocated for the governor of a state I've never lived in.  I'll wait.
.
Yours and BB's posts sort of expose the problem with everything:  just because I tend to criticize the absurdities of the party most here subscribe to, then I must be in the other camp.
No.
Criticizing the other party (which I have done) less often is a case of the audience on hand.  The VERY last thing this place needs is another voice contributing to the echo chamber.
.
But I'm sure you'll both keep pretending I worship AOC and find Biden a cunning linguist.  Because reasons.  It's easier that way.  You good, me bad.  Lazy thinking.
