Watched the Nolan Ryan documentary on Netflix last night. It was pretty good. Not exactly great strictly as a "documentary" as it lacked hardcore in-depth analysis of the ins and outs of his life and career, but very entertaining nonetheless. I didn't know prior to watching one of his sons did the film and I suspect there was only so much "documentary" going to happen outside of tooting his dad's horn.
Still fun for me. Ryan is to baseball for me what Jordan is to basketball....my childhood hero and the GOAT in my mind.
Oddly, as a boy I didn't daydream about pitching like Ryan, I dreamed about being a batter and getting a hit off of him.
