I heard something about a bridge to Canada being closed in Detroit
The closure of the El Paso airport might be newsworthy to be discussed without it getting political.

This topic, however, can not be made so.

If you really want to talk about this, there's a whole politics section in the seedy underbelly of the site.

Well I think it's fair to bring it up as an example of a newsworthy current event.  Because I hadn't heard about it until reading it on this thread a few moments ago.

Discussing the reasons behind it, on the other hand, could potentially get political, and fast.

The new Gordie Howe bridge from Windsor to Detroit is schedule to be completed this year and it's $4.7 billion cost was completely funded by Canada.  Whatever happens there's another bridge in Detroit as well as a tunnel.  There's a big bridge in Port Huron too.  Typically there's pretty big lines at the bridges during the day with significant wait times to get through Customs.

I run across these occasionally on the reels.  I have no idea how accurate they might be, but they're pretty cool.
