Zips scored 36 of 39 points after halftime. Were down 21-3 at half.
Dag, those are some serious Halftime adjustments.

Really good drive for Ohio St there.  Started inside their own 10, moved it to the 50, and burned over 5 minutes.  That’s how good teams win football games.

Louisville survived a scare against winless Western Kentucky.

Clay Helton's squad getting blown off the field by Texas. Think the heat on him is about to get white hot this season. USC fans are starving for the glory days of Pete Carroll.

TCU with an absolute implosion. Way to just hand the game over to Ohio State and lose all momentum. That was an epic meltdown that spanned like 5 mins and watched them go from up 21-13 to down 33-21. Not sure I've seen anything quite like that.
I don’t know.  I thought TCU did as well as they could, but it was a dam waiting to burst. You can’t count on Ohio State dropping TD passes, first down passes and stopping themselves on drives with false starts penalties.
Hell, watch the replay of Bosa going down.  He blew by the tackle who then dragged him down by the face mask.  That just lit the match. OSU just tore them up after that play.

it’s never been about how good a team “is”.  It’s about what they are capable of.  Ohio State looks capable of being a beast, but also of being mediocre at times.
Just like I view Michigan, Penn State and Wisconsin.

Target call on Utah Bs too.  Rule book may determine that targeting but it sure ain't targeting .

That was Akron's first win vs a current Big Ten team since 1894, when they beat Ohio State.

That was also the last time that OSU lost to a current D1 team from Ohio.

Michigan doesn't have the OL this year to compete. Unless the freshman tackles Jalen Mayfield and James Hudson are superior to Runyan and JBB that is. And that's a pretty big IF. Wish we would have seen them last week. Would've been a great opportunity to get them ready against WMU and SMU. But nope. Harbaugh starts the upperclassmen who clearly just can't play.

edit: this season reminds me so much of last year. replace horrendous QB play with horrendous OT play. OBVIOUS to anybody with half a brain that RS frosh Brandon Peters or even a true freshman Dylan McCaffrey would be better options than O'Korn after Speight got hurt. Harbaugh kept trotting O'Korn out there for weeks though letting him suck ass instead of playing the younger, more talented guy and letting him work through his mistakes. Makes zero sense to keep playing 5th year guys that just can't play.

here's another one of the finalist for worst shovel passes of all time.

57:10 mark.  It was Luther Hardin , not Grant Wistrom on the 3 yard INT TD return of a shovel pass.
