The new neighbors who seem to have had friends over every night of every weekend since COVID started are Raiders fans.

As insufferable as Notre Dame fans are, I'd rather have elitist snobs next door than the sort of people who revel in their support of piracy.
Piratey things are the best!  Well, pre-Capt Jack Sparrow.

This spring will be the first time that I have ever lived anywhere that didn't have lacrosse. That will be weird.

That was always a passage of time that winter was ending. It would start in February and you would just be freezing your ass off in the middle of a blizzard. Then the playoffs would be in May, and you'd just be baking in the Sun. In the meantime, you'd watch a bunch of games in the rain and the wind and the mud, with wildly fluctuating temperatures and conditions.

I am going to miss that.

Yeah, I did move out here last March, but I lived in Columbus up until the point where spring sports got cancelled. I got at least a half a dozen college lacrosse games under my belt by the time that all went down.

Beautiful morning here, sunny, mild, slight breeze.  I think our summer heat has largely broken.

What took you down that way? Can't recall if you said.

Lacrosse always seems like a cool thing, but always just outside of my already strained bandwidth.

The guy who said "Look at me, I am the captain now." Like the character, not the actual person.

We are projected to have our first 100-degree day of the year Monday, then a cold front is supposed to move in and drive us down to highs in the 70s, lows in the 50s, for the rest of the week.

Ya as I recall he kinda gimped around,Mickey Rivers of the Yankees would do that to.Belieng the fact they could turn it on on the basepaths and in the field. Some of the real good out fielders would half ass-it to the ball queing runners to advance only to fall for the ruse and get pegged.Dave Parker was another Pirate I liked
