I guess that is why they rank them the way they do - Laurinaitis was good, though never as impactful as Hawk, so it is weird looking.

He was arguably the best safety of his generation in the NFL but I don't really remember Ed Reed being all that dominant in college.

As for MSU, No Dennard or Calhoun seems weird.  Jabrill Peppers remains on brand as the most overrated player ever
