Minnesota not shy about running the ball on 3rd and long situations today.

OSU still at 2.9 y/rush. That should change as the half evolves. /youdthink
They haven't been very good running the ball for a few weeks now.  Their yards are more due to the quantity of carries, not the quality.

Ugh.  A really good drive ends in Minny gacking a 32 yard FG.  Might want to mark that play down.

One would expect that UMinn gaffe to end the game. Normally, at least.

"Cold" [high of 69] and rainy day here in SoCal. We have the kids this weekend and we were going to take them out to the apple orchard with some friends, but the weather killed that. I'm not sad ;-)

This UNL/NU game is keeping me interested while I wait for my wife to come home from the store with some bloody mary mix and watch the Purdue game. Her bloody mary skills are exquisite.

Tonight I'm going throw Black Diamond marinated flank steak on the grill, with roasted Brussels sprouts and garlic bread on the side.

Good marinade by the way... I recommend it: https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2017/06/black-diamond-steak-marinade-recipe.html

Per the other thread, maybe we'll break into some of the "good" wine tonight with dinner... Hopefully to celebrate a Purdue victory.

UNL still almost doubling up NU in yardage (442-237) and precisely in points (28-14).

How common are SoCal orchards? I was surprised to read SoCal and apples. /ignorance

Ever do a meat loaf in cast iron on the grill (indirect heat)?
Even better with some smoking wood in there...
One of the things I love about a Kamado grill. With a heat deflector it becomes a big coal-fired oven, but with the ability to throw in some smoking wood for flavoring.

Sounds like she just needs to add an instant pot and an air fryer. And yeah, while expensive, the Vitamix is worth it. Juicing a basket full of tomatoes without peeling the skins is life changing.
The Vitamix is great... If you're lucky like me, you've got in-laws who buy a lot of stuff they'll never use, and just give it to SWMBO.
That's how we got ours :)

That missed FG is looming large right now for Minny.

That's not a first down in any sense of the term.

Not a first down, but it is, when you're the face of the B1G.
