Notable takeaway: Nebraska now has a transitive loss to Air Force. The option rides again.
The Citadel's option says hello. They will provide for some transitive fun later this year.

That assumes Tech wins a game?

I'd like Maryland and Colorado to be Exhibits 19182 and 19183 of these being kids and they have not, do not, and will not always play their best in a given week - especially after big wins and/or getting lots of notoriety, etc.

Badge needs to acknowledge this.

Meh, feels like a one to let play out. Quality of the six or so teams in question seems worth waiting on.

Finally out of Internet vacuum in Yakima, WA, on iPad.

I see the Dawgs wore pink yesterday, or many fans did anyway, pretty cool.  Interesting night game upcoming against another team not in a P5 conference.

And we have symphony tickets ... Will probably attend that and check score at the half.  Or intermission, whatever.

Alaska was my 49th state, ironically.  Ha.

About ready to be home, but have until Friday for that trip back. Seeing some of Columbia River valley in two days.  The cruise thing was OK.  A stunning number of obese Americans on board.

We're staying a block from Trump tower here. Yesterday was Mexican Independence Day. As we were walking back from dinner (right past the tower), there were cars flying the Mexican flag back and forth in front of Trump tower blowing their horns. One car even saw us walking and yelled "F@&k Trump". Not sure it was directed at us. Not sure it wasn't.

We made haste to the hotel... Because even though we're not Trump supporters, we look the part!

@847badgerfan BTW we highly enjoyed the Weber Grill restaurant. I know you're a fan, right?

Actually today is Mexican Independence day-- El Diez y Seis de Septiembre.  But it wouldn't surprise me if some folks got an early head-start.

I have been to Hawaii 7-8 times, the wife loves it there.  ND is my last state.

I had not been to Canada before.

Is United States' Independence Day celebrated in Mexico, or anywhere else in the World, for that matter?

Yup.  I was in France for the 4th of July one year, got together with a bunch of Americans and celebrated it.  Of course ten days later was Bastille Day, definitely a much bigger party.

Down here in Texico, El Diez y Seis is widely celebrated. Moreso than El Cinco de Mayo which is actually nothing more than a celebration of a battle victory over the French, of all people.  Not sure why elsewhere, Cinco de Mayo became such a big deal.  I call it Mexican St. Patrick's Day.
