The tomato juice does "work", just not as well and not as fast, and it can leave a mess.
that's another reason I opted for the solution-after tomato juice even if it works there is still another washing/rinsing step - that's a tall order if the recipient is a cat and not a dog or me

Lifetime pet ban.  We don't have a prenup but that was understood before marriage.   Very allergic to cats and some dogs.  I'd be a dreadful pet owner.

What happened?
Didn't look that severe.

And Indiana's crowd running at full agitation now after the ejection.  I hate booing defenders faking injuries to slow injuries, but whatever, but I've never seen a crowd boo an offensive player for an injury.  Until right now.  Stick to soccer Hoosier fans
Mmm, I remember UW students doing that. Had a not great chant too.

Many people are allergic before desensitization. Me too. To cats and dogs (not to mention 365 days of "seasonal" allergies). But after ~4 months with either type, it was over. Those months weren't strictly comfortable, but prophylactic cetirizine is a marvel.
In any event, I think most people can grow out of it. It's paradoxical that the allergy can be more persistent if the allergen is avoided.

No dogs... just no.
I liken it to this: Would you welcome a drooling, unwashed  hairy naked man who doesn't wipe his ass into your home, to sit on your couch?
Somehow, I'm not totally surprised.
I like dogs. I like other folks' dogs more than my own. I've pet sit a couple times, and you have to be comfortable with a certain level of ... grit for lack of a better word. Not to be presumptive, but you always struck me as the sort who wanted his home just so. I've dated someone whose family had a whole ton of animals (farm life), and their standard for it is far higher than mine. I got used to it in the house after a while.

Any win in Iowa City at night is a great win. Changes the trajectory of the season for both.

UW now has a two game lead in the West, effectively. I kinda thought Maryland would beat Minnesota, but not like that. Purdue.. could be scary if they play like that for the rest of the season.

Both have a bye week next up, and both will need it. Some hitting going on last night, as usual. Lots of ice baths I'm sure.

Nebraska is next for UW. Iowa gets Minnesota. Then UW gets Michigan on the road, while Iowa heads to Bloomington.
I find myself worried UW will somehow lose on crossovers. Like PSU and Mich become or are legit and UW at 7-2 (or god forbid 6-3) is somehow squeezed out.
UW played gritty and the offense was better. D-line had a BAD day. Also, Chryst was kinda super aggressive, the kind of aggressive that scares fans.

That's why I advocate for division record being the first consideration. If, generic example, a West team loses two to the East but goes undefeated in the West, they should represent the West. I mean. They did a West round robin. And won them all. They're the best team out there.
Flow chart:
1. Compare division records; if no ties, you have your division champ
2. If 2 are tied, go H2H; you have your division champ
3. If 3 are tied, go with the present tie breakers, comparing conference records, H2H, or whatever is on that list until you have your CCG participant

It absolutely should be division record.  The way they do it now is ridiculous.

The downside (and this idea absolutely has strong detractors, even on this board) is that going division first will cost a conference CFP bids over time. Since, going back to the hypothetical above, the 10-2 (7-2, 6-0) team would be chosen over its 11-1 (8-1, 5-1) division mate for the CCG.

But that argument has never seemed good enough to earn it priority.

Detractors might also point out that going division-first will diminish the importance of inter-divisional games. To which I say:
  • not in tiebreaker scenarios and
  • the reg season diminishment genie is already out of the bottle anyway, which this example illustrates (team wins *every* division game in round robin fashion but doesn't win the division)

What farm animals in the house?Sort of like the old '60s sitcom "Green Acres"

That would be accurate, and part of why we sold it in 2+ days.  :)
