I think Alabama is an upper level team that could beat anybody on a  given day fairly frequently.  They lost a rather strange one at Auburn and lost by a few points to the #1/2 team at home and blew nearly everyone else out.   I think they would handle any Pac or ACC team aside from Clemson.  The AP has them at 9, which sounds about right to me, though I think they'd be favored over any but the top 3 teams right now.

But, such things are arbitrary.  One can discount nearly every team out there for bad losses or unimpressive wins or weak scheduling.

Bama WRs can abuse anybody.  This Bama team is like Riley era OU for some reason.

if the Badgers can stay within 10 of the Buckeyes tonight, I'll think they could handle Bama on a neutral field

if the Badgers upset the Bucks, any chance they might get Bama in a bowl game?

luv to see the Badgers take down Bama

If UW upsets OSU tonight, they are a lock for the Rose Bowl. They might go there, even with a close loss. If the Rose takes PSU over UW, UW will either get an at-large Cotton Bowl (please, no) or the Citrus Bowl against, very possibly, Bama (please, yes).

Bama's Def.isn't that great but you'd need a passing attack to stretch them. While giving up 48 to Auburn and 46 to LSU is understandable 31 to Ole Miss and 28 to T A&M - meh

What's good for OU is directly and immediately bad for Texas, so I'll certainly be rooting against them.  Not rooting FOR Baylor, mind you, because that would feel disgusting too.

If Wisconsin wins tonight- they should be in the CFP.

Too much would have to happen for that to be a reality. OSU is in no matter what happens tonight.

Clemson would have to lose for UW to even get considered for a spot. Not going to happen.

OU has to win. LSU has to win. Those could happen. Utah already got out of the way, so there's that.

I see OSU and LSU as locks no matter what happens today.

If Georgia were to annihilate LSU, LSU should not be a lock.

Would LSU truly be one of the "best four" if it got blown out by an offense-challenged team that lost to South Carolina?

I've got a dog in this hunt, obviously.  :)

Funny how some teams are obviously better but in a game can seem lethargic and unispired. If they were to play again I wouldn't bet the ranch but a barn, stable, corral and some acreage wouldn't be out of the question

That, and playing the best team in the NFC East twice in one season.

Burrow would have to be injured or simply play the worst game of any QB in Div.I this season for that to play out
