If Harbaugh puts Milton in here he’s just dumb. 

Peters should be the back up and Milton should redshirt.

Thinking out loud here- how much better would Michigan be right now if they had kept AJ Dillon to pair with Karan Higdon? Probably would’ve let them move Chris Evans to slot WR where he belongs.

The only way it makes sense to put Milton in:
If Shea is 100% returning and the plan is to redshirt him next year.

I’d be kinda shocked if Shea left early. 
He played in 3 games as a freshman and 6 as a sophomore before getting hurt. 
This is the first full year he’s put together as a starter. 
Think he needs to show more to the NFL guys. A lot more. 
And I honestly don’t see him as a big time NFL QB prospect. He’s a little under 6’2 and maybe 205 pounds. He has a good enough arm to play at the next level but by no means does he have a cannon like a Stafford or Cam Newton.

Yeah, preseason there was a bunch of top 10 pick talk, but the FOX NFL Draft guy they had on a couple weeks ago said probably 3rd or 4th round.  Absent putting on a total show against OSU and Alabama, he's back.

If you add up all the "potential first round talent" guys in preseason each year, you end up with 100 players.  There are 32 picks in the first round.

Even if Shea lit it up, really don’t see him as a 1st round QB.

He’s probably really 6’1 and a qtr and 205 pounds. Tell me how many QBs that size go 1st round? If his arm strength and velocity was out of this world then I’d say ya maybe- but his arm is above average. It’s not amazing or anything. Just pretty good.

Probably. 

Louisville insider with a radio show on ESPN Louisville radio is saying Petrino will be fired before the weekend is over.

If Petrino is fried there’s probably no way Brohm doesn’t take that job. He’s got more ties to Louisville than Jim had to Michigan.
