Urbs isn't taking any job other than the one he has.

Michigan (or Penn State) should have hired Chesney. UCLA hit the home run there.

I like what a poster said in the comment section
------
There is proven data that Jason Beck is a good Offensive coordinator

There is no proven data that Bryce Underwood is a competent College quarterback

Facts over feelings.

Make the change
-----
IMO give BU another quarter to right the ship. This bye week could be a blessing or a festering curse, I know what I'm rooting for ;D

Getting ugly in Ann Arbor. Seems like this experiment is doomed to fail.

Some people think Zack Marshall's opinion hits the nail on the head and are not happy with OC Beck's play calling and think he may be in over his head.  Michigan's offense has a lot of problems...OL, QB, injuries, attitude, and the play calling by the OC may be a significant part.  Coach Whittingham said this week they're going to get back to running the ball downhill.  When and why did they ever get away from it?  I must have missed that memo.

why they try to constantly run Jordan Marshall out of the shotgun or run fake jet sweeps to Bryce with Jordan Marshall at Wildcat QB....beyond me. Pound that MF Marshall between the tackles let him go north/south. He was a beast at that last year....so let him do that.

the whole situation sucks. Whittingham looks checked out. Jason Beck is not an impressive OC. Neither one of them have ever developed a QB worth a fucking shit. Whittingham was the HC at Utah for 21 fucking years never developed a real QB....what the fuck makes ANYONE think he's going to do it now when he's pushing 70 was forced to retire and just parachuted into a job that he probably never thought in a million years was going to fall into his lap.

whole thing sucks. Michigan will limp on to 6-6, Whittingham will get fired. Mass exodus in the porthole. And new AD will hire a new coach. Just hope they get one that's not half-out the game and under 70.

::) I thought you didn't drink, like clock work you're all :character0029: . But you really broke the bullshit meter this time. So I scanned the Net knowng that was misplaced wolverine wizz but couldn't remember the dudes

Beck coached Taysom Hill @ BYU as the QBs coach (2013–2015), where Hill became a multi-dimensional threat/starter, rushing for 1,344 yards and 10 TDs while throwing for nearly 3,000 yards in 2013 before battling injuries.

Beck coached Kurt Benkert @ Virginia as the QBs coach (2016–2017), Benkurt threw for 5,759 yards and 46 TDs over two years as the starter and later playing in the NFL.

Beck coached Brennan Armstrong @ Virginia who put up massive numbers in 2021 under Beck's watch, completing 65% of his passes for 4,449 yards and 31 touchdowns.

Beck coached Garrett Shrader @ Syracuse - Under Beck's guidance, Syracuse's team passing efficiency rating skyrocketed from 108th in the FBS to 40th nationally in just one season. Shrader's completion percentage jumped by over 12%, and his passer rating climbed from 113.7 to 147.9 while throwing for 17 TD's

And despite injuries, Beck's 2023 offense set the Syracuse single-game record for total offense in the season opener with 677 yards. Later in the season, they rushed for 392 yards against Pittsburgh—the most in a single game for the program since 1996. He also produced a 1,000-yard rusher in LeQuint Allen

I appears what Whittingham and Beck have never coached is a turn over machine, a self destructive prima donna and an accident waiting for a place to happen. Put him at WR or TE he's not QB materiel.Unless he can be rotated with someone that can throw, like Urbz did at FLA with Chris Leak and Tim Tebow in '06
