I'm guessing there have been many more hail marys converted than seconds put back on the clock erroneously

probably about even. I can remember more than a couple games where there were clock issues.

Hail Mary is the biggest fluke play in all of football with the lowest conversion rate/chance of success. To give that up at the very end of the game is just not acceptable. You deserve to lose if you give that up in my opinion.

To paraphrase the NCAA, officials are to use the network's programming clock even if it's wrong.  LOL

I think all this largely revolves around what if WMU wins out?  This controversy may help get them into the playoff.

Official record book says 2-0. Sorry.

Michigan didn’t deserve to lose because they got an extra second on the clock.

they deserved to lose bc it took them a fluke Hail Mary to beat Western Michigan and then the fans stormed the field after doing so. Honestly they deserve shame embarrassment and a loss for the field storm alone.

It's a win

Imagine how embarrassing it would be to rush the field against Western Michigan if you didn't win.  Instead it's just a normal field storm after beating a MAC team

A field storm against WMU says otherwise, that's a bunch of winners

It's of little consolation to Western Michigan, but the NCAA's FBS Oversight Committee said Wednesday that had proper replay protocols been followed, the Broncos would have beaten Michigan in Week 1.

I know they're an NFL team, but even if proper replay protocols were followed, the Broncos looked so bad against the Chiefs that I still don't think they would've beaten Michigan.
