With Whittingham moving on from Utah, really hoping for the Utah program to fall into a lifeless dip. Like 9-20 over the next 2.5 years after firing their coach midway through year three.

Whittingham cleaned house as he left Utah, and they aren't happy about it. He took the OC, OL, QB, WR, TE, and DE coaches with him, along with WR J.J. Buchanan, DE John Henry Daley, DT Jonah Lea'ea, and CB Smith Snowden.

don't forget prized 2026 5* WR/DB recruit Salesi Moa.

Michigan spring game was yesterday. Pretty vanilla and boring overall. Bryce Underwood played for both teams in the 1st QTR in a no contact no tackling snooze fest. Bryce looked pretty MEH to be honest. OL had some issues in pass protection and Evan Link looked....very bad. 5* uber recruit from 2025 class Andrew Babalola needs to get back healthy and fast to seize that LT job. Evan Link is what he has always been- very mediocre.

Michigan's defensive front is going to be just fine. Lot of young talent really flashed. Should be a strength....again.

Couple of 5* true freshman flashed to me. RB Savion Hiter is a fucking unit- would not be surprised if he wrestles away lead back status from Jordan Marshall (who is damn good) before the year is over and WR Salesi Moa is going to be a dude- oozes athleticism and very fluid mover. Hey, who would've thunk that recruiting 5*'s out of high school is a good idea!

Tommy Carr the true frosh QB and grandson of Lloyd also surprised me. He just might wind up being a dude. QB2 for sure at this point.

Weasels did OK in the Portal,Butler looks like a decent position guy not sure about his speed. That QB Nicholis had a great Fr season with over 3,000 yds threw for over 2,000 yds as a Soph. Got benched last year but potential is there. That DE Daley had 12.5 sacks and 18.5 TFL last season at Utah. French has potential but hasn't broke out yet. TE Buchanon is entering his 2nd year and looks to be a very good pick up. Him,Daley and Nicholis just might be difference makers, the rest mostly rotational guys but who knows with a change of scenery.
