Well, UW and MSU each won road games and will now face each other tomorrow in an empty building, for the right to proceed to another empty building in Vegas.

St. Paul or Fargo would have been better

United Center and Indy would be good, central places for UW and MSU to meet. They'd probably fill them up.

I didn't get the sense that MSU sat on the lead. They were relentless and the UW goalie stood on his head in he 3rd.

That's more on Wisconsin than on MSU. The Badgers were relentless and their D was suffocating.

MSU had some great shots even still.

That final goal was fluky as heck. Good things happen when you go to the net, and all that, but what a weird way to win a game.

Not Big Ten, but if we had an NHL thread, it's long buried.

I knew the Red Wings were choking down the stretch, but I looked at the standings, and it's hilarious how bad the Western Conference is.  The Wings are 10th in the East.  They would be 1 point out of leading the Pacific Division.  The Predators would be the last team in the the West right now.  They would be the 3rd worst team in the East, 11 points out of a playoff spot.

Also, Columbus would currently be the last team in in the East, and they have a winning record against the top 3 teams in the conference.  They struggle with teams they should beat, but are a giant killer.  In case anyone wants to put any futures out there

The Frozen Four is made up of the four teams with the most national championships in the sport. I bet that hasn't happened very often:
1) Denver: 10
2) Michigan: 9
3) North Dakota: 8
4) Wisconsin: 6
