Not only that, Adams is one of the best 3 WR's in the NFL right now. It's probably Kupp, Adams, and Tyreek. Not going to be able to replace him with anyone nearly as good. And chances of a rookie being that good are slim.

Man, the Raiders are stacked at the skill positions going into next season. (Easy to forget Carr and Adams were teammates while at Fresno State.) Adams contract is nuts but because of the choice of targets Carr will have downfield, Adams will be even more open in the Raiders offense.

As far the Packers, though Adams is the best target Rodgers had by far, there are other effective WRs Rodgers has to throw to. The problem is Rodgers wouldn't throw to most of them when the going got tough last year. Even when secondaries honed in on stopping Adams, Rodgers still forced plays to Adams, who, being a Top 3 WR, could make it work. Thus Adams became a crutch Rodgers leaned on. Taking away the one option Rodgers depended on brings a lot of growing pains to seeing the field to start next season.

But lucky for the Packers they can beat up on a bad division before the big boys await in the playoffs. Same story most every year.

Falcons trade QB Matt Ryan to the Colts for a 3rd rd draft pick. Falcons move immediately to sign f/a QB Marcus Mariota to a two year contract to be their stop-gap until they find the next franchise QB of the future.

Colts took a 489 year old Phillip Rivers on a one year F/A deal and then traded for a crappy bust QB in Wentz, realized Wentz actually sucks, and now kinda stole Matt Ryan if you ask me. 3rd rd pick is all? Matt Ryan still has some quality years in him left.

What's Ryan's contract worth?

I agree with you that Ryan is a decent QB with some quality years in him, but if he's too expensive for Atlanta to build around him, getting rid of him might have been worth it to get nothing in return, and they got a 3rd round pick. I don't think Matt Ryan (or Marcus Mariota) is the answer to getting the Falcons back to the Super Bowl, but if Mariota is cheaper than Ryan, and it gives them leeway to improve the team and draft their QB of the future and develop him behind Mariota, it could be a smart move for them.

As for the Colts? Also might be great for them... They were a playoff team if not for Wentz. Ryan>Wentz IMHO, so this might give them a needed boost.

I think it's a win-win.  Falcons don't have enough pieces around Ryan to win with a decent, but not great (anymore) QB.  The Colts do.

At the same time rounding out the other division QB's were Warren in Houston and Bubby in Pittsburgh. Somehow Bernie,Boomer,Warren & Bubby sound more like the Summa Cum Laude achievers at a Ivory League School  than an NFL Roster

I'd draft more QB's. You need them to win more than any other position. Draft two or three at a time if you don't have one.

Chiefs trade WR Tyreek Hill to the Dolphins for 5 draft picks. Only one of them a 1st rounder.

Dolphins hand Hill a 4-year, $120 million deal.

Jesus. I’ve never see so much massive movement in an nfl off-season ever.

OJ wasn't even good at football anymore once he killed people.  He was just good in rental car commercials and Naked Gun
