This won't be good. Once you start flirting with retirement, you are already gone.

Kinda like staying with a girl that is threatening to leave, there's no point. She's already got one foot out the door. Time to cut bait, lick your wounds, and move on.

A USFL team should have drafted him on a flyer....

After keeping Green Bay on its toes, Rodgers finally signs his new deal to re-up where, IMO, he has his best chance at finally reaching another Super Bowl. Green Bay's division is a mess. The offense is loaded across the roster. And the defense has more talent than usual. But all of that only wins the division. Anything more is up to Rogers overcoming his frustrating mental hurdles.

And let's hope one year into his contract Rogers isn't whining about going to other teams. Really sick of QBs signing a long contract because of the money only to look elsewhere while whining about the terms they signed. Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson, and all the NBA players that similarly act out.

"The total value of the deal is reported to be $150 million over three years, according to several reports, but the structure of the deal reduces his cap hit to $28.5 million in 2022 – down from $46.7 million.

Most of that is due to converting his salary to a roster bonus and adding voidable years at the end of his deal – years he is unlikely to play for the Packers. Which means Green Bay is kicking money down the line in exchange for cap savings in the short term.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that if Rodgers retires or moves on after the 2023 season, the team will take on a $68.2 million cap hit for the 2024 season."

Packers trade star WR Devante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders for the Raiders 1st and 2nd rd picks in the upcoming 2022 draft. Adams was a F/A and Packers are in cap hell. Raiders will be giving Adams a 5-year, $141 million deal.

Rodgers sure has to be happy right now, lol. The memes on twitter are hilarious....

There aren't a lot of good WRs available to use that cap space on.  Who is going to be their #1 WR now?  I guess this means they have to trade with someone else.  We'll just have to see if they already had someone else lined up.  If they just add Landry or OBJ and call it a day, this would be a disaster.  Also I don't like relying on a rookie WR (though it is a good draft for them), when you're in win-now mode.
