I wouldn't normally post a mid-week update and I'm late with this but Wisconsin's win at Iowa on Sunday was our last league game until December 29. Thus, the current projections will not change for at least two weeks so here they are. First, the tiers are:
- PU, IL, IU
- IA, tOSU, RU, UMD, MSU
- UW, M, PSU
- UNL, NU
- BLANK
- MN
The upsets so far have been:

So MSU is even with one up and one down. Northwestern and Wisconsin are both +1 while PSU and Iowa are both -1.
Projected final standings/BTT seeds:
- 16-4 Purdue
- 14-6 Indiana
- 14-6 Illinois
- 12-8 Rutgers
- 12-8 Iowa
- 12-8 Ohio State
- 12-8 Maryland
- 11-9 Michigan State
- 10-10 Wisconsin
- 9-11 Michigan
- 8-12 Penn State
- 5-15 Nebraska
- 5-15 Northwestern
- 0-20 Minnesota
The tiebreakers for the two ties are:
For the 14-6 tie:
- Indiana wins based on a projected 1-1 record against Purdue
- Illinois loses based on a projected 0-1 record against Purdue (they do not host the Boilermakers)
For the four-way 12-8 tie:
- Iowa: RU and IA win the initial, 4-way H2H2H2H at 3-2 because neither travels to College Park, Maryland. RU and Iowa then go to record against the best team but both project to go 0-1 against PU so it moves to record against IL and IU where Iowa prevails because they host but do not visit the Illini while Rutgers visits but does not host the Illini. Both teams play IU twice and are projected to go 1-1 against the Hoosiers. Since teams in tier-2 are projected to beat Illinois at home and lose to them on the road, Iowa gets the #4 seed.
- Rutgers: see above
- Ohio State is third in the initial 4-way H2H2H2H with a record of 3-3 due to playing all three teams twice each.
- Maryland loses the initial 4-way H2H2H2H at 1-3 due to hosting neither the Hawkeyes nor the Scarlet Knights.
For the two-way 5-15 tie (note that #12 and #13 play on the first day of the BTT so this tiebreaker only determines jersey color:
- Nebraska wins because they do not visit Evanston.
- Northwestern loses because they do not host the Cornhuskers.
Thus, the match-ups for the B1G Tournament at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois would be:

- #12 Nebraska vs #13 Northwestern, 6pm BTN
