I dislike the idea of wishing away time, but as soon as we hit 30, my excitement ramps and it gets a lot harder to live in the moment.

I have no issue wishing away winter to get to baseball, but I can't wish away summer to get to football.  I just view it as a win-win.  It's going to be really nice, every day, then eventually there will also be football.

Besides, I think Florida and Miami kick off in about 4 hours at this point

The one think I am quite envious of Michigan of, is their extensive online archive through fans, both of video and football.  MSU's is garbage.  A late 80s All-American and the only photo I can find of him is a group shot, where he's in the back?



Granted he was an even better baseball player, and wore the same number.  Turned down the Mets to return for his senior Rose Bowl winning season, which probably forever derailed his baseball career.  Peaked in AA in the Tigers' system

Many schools' online resources are crap...as if their programs started in 2002 or something.  They should honestly be embarrassed.  



Nebraska has their shit together.  Everyone else should be like Nebraska.

My computer was down yesterday, and it's not much better today.  Hat tip to OAM for posting Steve Owens' pic.  I'll do another one of Owens, along with OU's first Heisman winner, Billy Vessels.


As the story goes, Owens found out that he had won the Heisman when someone on campus told him he had heard about it on the radio.
