But for the retractable roof, this brewers cards series would've been cut to one game.  The snow fall last night was heavy and blustery,  today was just cold.   Nasty weekend too.  Cubs come to town .  The power outage in 2001 canceled a game vs KC, otherwise the Brewers have managed to spend that tax payer money quite appropriately in building that roof averting countless postponed games due to rain, sleet, snow and cold.

Note: never forgetting the lives which were lost when the big blue crane collapsed crushing 3 people to death during construction in 1999.

I'll never understand people voluntarily living north of the Mason-Dixon......

I like seasons and literacy.
Otherwise I'd have already moved to the south.

You don't live in Nebraska anyway.

The good water is where I live. Of course, it's frozen.

Yep.
They'll be good in 2020.  Over .500 this year?  Negative.

I don't drink out of the river often either

Which is why I said I would be content if they win 85. I'm hopeful. They need another starter and a closer. Those are down at the farm right now.

I'd be surprised if they won 75 this year.  Not rooting against them, I just don't see a .500 team there.

Tigers with a sweep on the South Side.  Still going to be a long summer, but a 4-4 start that includes a replay screw job on Opening Day and a pair of 1-0 losses, I'll take.  So long as they don't buy at the deadline, I can get on board with being a faux playoff wildcard contender until football starts.
