I am referring to teams ranked in the 60s and higher in ELA's preseason polls as being "really bad". Perhaps that is not the proper term. I'm sure he will have four teams in the B1G East in the top 15 or so, but not many, if any, 15-30, which is where 8-4 type teams end up in general, teams that win 3 OOC games and manage 5-4 in conference.
To end up ranked 65th for example for a P5 team suggests more of a 4-8 kind of result.
In other news, it's good I think to see Purdue with some life, and evidence again that a good coach and do great things.
I lean to thinking Nebraska will be a lot better next season. I can't figure Michigan out at all.
Wisconsin keeps on churning out solid teams that perhaps are just short of playoff material.
