Tennessee Lady Vols Stay in Locker Room for National Anthem

F**K them and their social justice shit.

More and more we see what's wrong at the University of Tennessee as the social justice crap is allowed to happen.  They represent the university and the people who donate money are the ones providing funds so they get a free education for playing a kids game.

The very least is they be required to honor our flag and country by standing for the National Anthem. If not then yank their scholarship and show them the door.  Or maybe we need to fire a few coaches who allows this shit to go on.

The players made the decision so what the hell are we paying the coaches for.

More and more I'm starting think to hell with them it's not worth the effort to support what's happening at UT.

Both teams remained in the locker room for the National Anthem before the Tennessee women's basketball team's game against Georgia on Thursday

No players, coaches or team staff members were on the court when the anthem played with about eight minutes to go before the game. Traditionally, the anthem plays after starting lineup introductions, mere moments before tipoff.

Tennessee's players made the decision to institute a policy to remain in the locker room for the National Anthem, a spokesperson with the university confirmed. The Lady Vols were inspired by a trip to LSU on Sunday, which has the same policy in place.
Tennessee will likely remain in the locker room in each of its future home games.

My interest in the girls' team has hovered near zero for some time.

Thanks for pointing out the need to recalibrate to absolute zero on the dial, Gym.

I actually watched the last 30 seconds of their game last night. I kid you not that it took 17 to 18 minutes to be completed. They had 2 chances to win the game in the last 3 seconds and never got off a shot either time.

The first half they played team ball, passed it as well as can be expected. They came out the 2nd half and played me ball so bad I though Holly was on the sidelines. Finale 30 secs they played some tenacious D but had butter fingers. You could tell Kelly was very unhappy with them. She also chewed a ref out in a manner that would make Pat proud.

This team is going to be up and down. They can learn from last night if they will.
President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.
