Perhaps we've met since I've sit in the presidents box and the Trustees box  several times and also dined with them?
Who's the Trustee?. I'd like to discuss the subject with him?
Btw.. I probably worded my post badly.
I didnt mean you had personally threatened them.
I meant that a prior AD had been intimidated by idiot fans making threats resulting in him firing Fulmer without a plan or clue how to replace him .
We've had UT presidents and Chancellors that had no loyalty to UT or its history who ripped off the University and let the athletic program go to hell....a direct result of our losing record to ranked teams you mentioned

Perhaps we have met.    Now you've posted something you and I can agree on.  I always thought we should have always had a UT alum as AD even when they hired Dickey and especially should never have hired Dave Hart a BAMA guy.  I don't think anyone could ever really believe a BAMA alum would want Tennessee to beat them at anything.  Bear hated Tennessee because of Neyland and they all hate Fulmer because they blame him for getting caught cheating.

Now why Fulmer would even considered a BAMA guy for HC is the big question I thought we learned that lesson long ago with Battle.

The good news if JG could start for the Vols next year, if you are a fan of an SEC team who plays them.

Was speaking not only of being a UT alum as coach but as president and chancellor.
Thankfully we finally have a UT alum as president but can think of no one who was an alum who was qualified as a HC when Pruitt was hired.

We have former UT players who were just as qualified as Pruitt.  If we were going to hire a defensive coordinator Dale Jones is at Appy State.  Randy Sanders is HC at East TN St but I doubt Randy would ever want to coach at UT again after the way the fans treated him and his family. They are just as qualified and Randy more so than Pruitt.

Think it looked bad to day just wait until next week.

If JG is the best we have for QB then someone isn't worth what he is being paid as HC, it doesn't look good for the AD that hired him and can't see why he was hired to begin with.

Another swing and a miss at hiring a head coach.
