List Of Potential Candidates For UT Football Coach
« on: January 19, 2021, 08:52:19 AM »
Interesting that I read another article last night with the top five candidates listed and only two potential candidates are on both list.
Goes to show no one really has any idea:
Hugh Freese is on this list and is the one potential I would bet wont get a sniff. With the NCAA breathing down our neck the last person UT will be interested in would be someone under a Show Cause from the NCAA.

This writer thinks Bill O'Brien is a top candidate.

The most likely candidate to be the Tennessee Vols' next head coach (atozsportsnashville.com)

Bill Napier and Jamey Chadwell would be my first choices in that order both are from Tennessee and are proven winners.

My fear is the rumor has Jon Gilbert the front runner for AD. Another person with ties to Alabama. He was Dave Harts assistant and spent almost 17 years in the athletic department at BAMA.

Can we not get away from hiring people who have ties to them or do those in charge think it's a must or are they just plain stupid.   They've screwed us over long enough by hiring scum with ties to the Gumps it's time realize that.

If that happens the shit show will just continue.

Didn't he just become Alabama's OC?

That would be as popular as a fart in church.

I'm for Mark Ingram for A.D.

Not sure about head coach yet, but I hope he got an offensive background.  I was for Brohm during the last search when we hired Pruitt.  While it's obvious we'll never be among the elite, if we're ever to even experience any temporary spikes to the top of the SEC East, it's going to take top-notch quarterback play.

I'd be happy with Lane Kiffin.

That is quite possibly the smartest thing you've ever posted.

Fixed it for you 😈
