Hell, we all know the referees cheat for the GUMPS and holding hasn't been called on them since before the Bear was a cub. Sankey lives in Birmingham he and Saban are friends so don't you think he's going to make sure his buddy doesn't get beat.

But when all is said and done the cheating and corruption in officiating is because university presidents and board of trustees allow the crap to continue. Sankey should be fired, and the commissioner's office moved out of Birmingham to a neutral location even if it's out of the SEC states entirely.

Then get referees without ties to any SEC schools and do background checks to ensure they don't have any family members that do.

A little training and reading the rule book would help also.

I could write a book on the game changing calls and non-calls that have always gone in favor of Alabama when they are playing UT.
But I think practically every school in the SEC could write a sequel

Bear sometimes kept players under wraps until the 3rd Saturday in Oct. and everyone wanted to know where he had been all season
President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

Bear used to sign over a 100 players and he would sign players he didn't need but just to keep other teams in the SEC from getting them. There was no limit on scholarships at the time. Kids would get a scholarship to Bama and never see the field for 4 years.
