We'll get an idea if TN is going to lose 3 or 4 in a row after Saturday.

How in the hell did TN open as a 11-1/2 pt favorite?

So, the odds makers could make money. People will bet with their allegiance more often than with good sense.

It will be down to five by Saturday.

South Carolina vs Tennessee Odds, Betting Trends, and Line Movements - 09/25/2023 (vegasinsider.com)

I've never seen a line shift by more than a few points.  It could drop to 9 or 10 maybe depending on betting trends.

I think there will be some surprises this week, KY at home beats the Gators , Arkansas at home beats A&M and South Carolina upsets UT in Knoxville.

Rattler will have another Heisman game against the TN secondary.  TN doesn't have the passing game Miss State had last week so they can't keep up matching score for score.

Pigs and Ags play in JerryWorld again this year.  But I think this might be the last year of that contract...?

At least the games are interesting and several upsets are very possible.  I see UGA is a 2 TD favorite on the road, I'd take the points.

There ya have it, next year will be the last one.

The ags' starting QB Conner Weigman is out for the game, and rumors are that he's out for the season, so we'll see what they're able to do against the hogs with their backup.

Edit: Apparently no longer rumors, all the major news outlets have run the story.  It sucks for the kid, I like him and think he's the real deal.  I hope he can have a full recovery with no lasting issues.

Guesses were a bit better, I missed UF-UK of course.  I got close on the Mizzou win (38-21).  The Ole MIss game of course was a twelver.

I thought the 2020 defense was the worst it could be.  I was wrong.

Word is DC Matt House is one of several candidates for the Mich. St. job.  I will help him pack, if need be, and he needs to take Cooks, Steeples, Jancek and whoever is pretending to coach outside linebackers with him.

I didn't see this coming, but I've come to think this is the best offense in the SEC and possibly the country--definitely one of the best--and they're going to sadly be wasted by the worst defense in BR since the Curly Hallman years.  They probably only need a top 50, maybe top 40 defense and they would probably beat anyone on a given day.  Unfortunately, out of 130 FBS teams we're well below 100.  They're soft, don't cover, and can't tackle.  The offense will have to score tds every 9 out of 10 or 11 drives, and that isn't feasible even though they're tremendous.

A&M -Ark was not nearly as close as the score shows. They had a pick 6 and a couple fumble recoveries but otherwise could not move the ball well at all. Should have been 45-6, but still happy for the win.
