Miss State QB Kamario Taylor is out for the season so the Horns will be facing backup Billy Puckett.

Backup QBs are our Kryptonite.  Please tell me he's not a true freshman in his first start ever?  That would guarantee a Longhorn loss.

He's a RS Freshman and made his first start against us a couple weeks ago.  It didn't go very well; he was a respectable 16/26 but for only 121 yds, 0 TDs, 1 INT, and was sacked 3 three times.

This isn't the usual and customary Texas defense. MSU was basically being driven by an ultra-athlete at QB who could turn chaos into yards gained. I don't know that they have anyone else to competently advance the ball.

Texas just has to score more than 20 points  to win. That covers two opponent FGs, one TD our offense coughed up, and one TD enabled by us committing 6 individually enforceable personal fouls on a fair-catch kickoff.

Preferably in the first half, because I can't guarantee you anything in the second.
