Congratulations to Georgia fans, I must admit, I had my doubts, even though I bet on the Bulldogs. I have been telling people that this is the year Georgia is out of alibis, having passed Ohio State on the “Blue Chip Ratio”. Happily, the defense came through, in a big way.

The trouble with the game was, like the Penn State at Wisconsin game, the two defensive lines, were better than the offensive lines they were facing, so we can’t tell how good Clemson, Georgia, Penn State or Wisconsin’s offenses are, based on week one. What do you expect from Georgia’s offense going forward? Thanks.

Georgia had 4 (4!!!) 5 star receivers sidelined for one reason or another against Clemson, (Pickens, Gilbert, Washington, Blaylock) and Kearis Jackson as well  Hopefully we will get at least some of them back quickly and they can start stretching the d so the Dawgs can fully unleash the monster that is Zeus.  Against Clemson we were reduced to a freshman tight end as our leading rec'r. That won't even look good against Vandy.  UGA has, forever and ever amen, tons of potential on o.  We will see against Kirby's great litmus test in Atlanta.

The ACC is terrible, nothing new there.  Of course they'll run the table.

Big congrats to the Bulldogs, well-earned win.
Of course they'll run the table?

So far so good.  I didn't say they'd do it by wide margins. :)

The Tech score shocked me quite a bit.

Tech is awful.  I know there was some weather.

Who else in the ACC has much chance with Clemson?  Nobody has much chance, but over 9 more games there could be an upset lurking.

Well there you have it.

The end of Clemson's run?  Or just a bump in the road?

An upset more than lurked for Clemmons.  Wake Forest leads one ACC division, and BC the other.
