I have a line on a fella that distributes beef to restaurants in the Northern Wisconsin/Upper Peninsula of Michigan region. I've personally picked up standing ribeye roasts, full cut NY Strip's, whole tenderloins, briskets and ribs from the guy... the better cuts were all USDA Prime (which if you don't know is almost impossible to find outside a restaurant in most area's w/o paying out of the nose for them) and I've done both Prime Rib with them, and cut massive steak out of them. I attempted Beef Wellington with the tenderloin, but I won't speak to what I did to that poor fine cut of beef.
Also, I have a line on Fresh (and I mean FRESH) seafood from my home region- I've a close friend who has docks literally off the back of his fresh market, and the food is so fresh you often have to wait for the boats to unload..... we're talking shrimp anywhere from 40ct to 12ct, blue crabs, soft shell crabs (in season), grouper, tuna (yellow fin), gray trout, flounder, red snapper, ect... shellfish such as oysters and clams...
both of these depend on availability... obviously...
question:
Are any of you guys interested in this? If so- I was thinking about selling them on the site, here. The seafood guy already ships- does it via FedEx overnight in coolers w/ice packs. The beef guy will ship for me too... we're talking prices far better than some established sellers online, and quality just as good or exceeding them.
