I'm not sure half-assed is the accurate description anymore.  Is there such a thing as quarter-assed?

I'll try another one.

TCU is one of the more disappointing teams in the Big 12 this year.  At 3-3, and with the meat of their conference schedule still ahead of them, bowl eligibility for the Horned Frogs is not guaranteed.

I've heard that some Texas fans on certain message boards are a bit disappointed in the Horns' performance so far.

These two teams meet in Fort Worth at 2:30 CDT on Saturday.

Texas is averaging 307 passing yards per game and giving up 310 passing yards per game, while TCU is averaging 202 passing yards gained and 181 surrendered.

How many yards passing will Texas and TCU have combined?

My guess is 495 yards.

The correct answer was 573 yards of passing.

Texas: 315
TCU: 258

So . . .

1. Gigem (505)
2. Fearless (496)
3. CWSooner (495)
4. Utee (475)
5. Everybody else, especially including Mr. Nubbz.

Yeah I'd be happy if we just don't have any more questions involving Texas.  It's too embarrassing and makes me hesitant to come back to this thread.

Thanks in advance.

So, adding to Gigem's previous table, unless I've missed a week, I think we are like this:

CWSooner  15+3=18
Gigem        22+1=23
Mr. Nubbz   22+5=27
Utee94       25+4=29
Fearless     27+2=29
ALA2262    31+5=36
Longhorn 320 32+5=37

Re Utee's request, I can't switch over to OU because the Sooners are playing Open Date this weekend.

So-o-o-o, let's look at Kansas State.

The Kansas State Wildcats travel 1/4 of the way across the state of Kansas (where it is both hotter and colder than anywhere else) to play the University of Kansas Jayhawks.  The Kitties are coming off a win over OU that was more dominant than the final score indicated.  The Jaybirds are coming off a miracle win that involved a heartbreaking boo-boo by Texas Tech.

K-State's leading rusher is James Gilbert, who has 558 yards rushing, for an average of just a smidge under 80 ypg.  Kansas' leading rusher is Pookah Williams, who has 704 yards rushing, for an average of 88 yards per game.

The question is, how many yards will K-State's leading rusher and Kansas' leading rusher combine for in this game?

Note that I am not talking about Gilbert and Williams, but rather each team's leading rusher in this game.

Oops! I didn't add in the results from Week 8.

1. CWSooner: 170
2. Fearless: 176
2. Gigem: 225
4. Everybody else

So, putting these scores in front of the Week 9 scores gives us this.

CWSooner  15+1+3=19
Gigem        22+2+1=25
Mr. Nubbz  22+4+5=31
Fearless    27+2+2=31
Utee94      25+4+4=33
ALA2262    31+4+5=40
Longhorn 320 32+4+5=41
