Wow!  Great game ISU!  The Cyclones showed a lot of grit and heart to beat a 10-2 team on their home field with a bunch of iffy calls against them.

They came within 4 minutes and an questionable call of becoming the first FBS team to go an entire season without losing a fumble.

Man 320 I hope you turn out to be right.  I remember you were always one of the best prognosticators on the Big 12 board (in those contests Erin and others used to run).  Hopefully that will continue to be the case here!

Iowa State played a great game except for two (?) turnovers in the opposing red zone.

They got the benefit of a shaky roughing penalty against Memphis that nullified a pick on the goal line.  They then went in to score a TD.

OTOH, they got a bad (albeit self-inflicted) break with the fumble on the 1-inch line reaching for the goal line.

I think the breaks and calls about evened out, and ISU deserved the 1-point win.

Congrats to the Clones, wherever they are.
