The fact that the next two couches would do worse than the prior coach when we had Rick Comley trading recruiting budget for salary a decade ago is unfathomable.

I think only UM, OSU and PSU sponsor as many varsity sports as MSU in the Big Ten.  And no SEC schools do.  Why the hell did we dump swimming when the most expensive sport is a joke?  PLEASE CUT HOCKEY!

So OSU is best in the country at pistol and mens and women's fencing?  Why are they here and not in Ukraine?  Better send the men's hoops team this week to be safe

Beat Purdue in the BTT.

I've been down on Suzy Merhcant, the program has stagnated, UM has gone from a garbage program to a title contender.  But to be a middle of the pack team, playing on Friday in the BTT, missing 2 starters all season with season ending surgeries, a 3rd since winter break due to transfer, and a 4th since January due to a third season ending injury, is quite a task.


They had two starters with 4 fouls in the 3rd quarter when another twisted her ankle.  She looked to the bench, and was basically told, "we only have 5 players left"

If those three all come back next year, MSU could be pretty good

Gave #1 OSU a fight today, fell behind by 20, got it to within 6 in the final minutes, but OSU pushed it back out at the FT line.

Clouden was spent, and we shot 41% from the line, compared to 80% (-11), but the two freshmen put on a show.  Ekh scored 21 points on 6 made 3s, and last year's Michigan Miss Basketball did this

You get those 3 injured starters back, with these freshman, and the chance Clouden takes advantage of her COVID year, should be much better last year.

Wrestling was good tonight.  Should be a very interesting final Sunday.  1/2/3 pretty tight.  I'll wager Michigan based on pt potential.
