Yep, as I said last night the game might have gone a little differently if the KC defense wasn't committing stupid penalties and if the KC receivers had bailed Mahomes out by actually catching the well-thrown balls he was sending at them while he was running for his damn life.
Note--not blaming the refs. The penalties were legitimate, but many of them came at REALLY inopportune times to extend TB drives. Especially the one where an away-from-the-play defensive holding call negated an interception, the PI on a Brady overthrown deep ball that set up the final TB TD in the first half, and the lining up in the neutral zone on a FG attempt that gave TB a first down instead (led to a TD as well IIRC).
The dominance of the TB DL was as expected against a hampered KC OL. Mahomes was only sacked 3 times, which is a credit to his ability to escape and scramble--most QBs would have been dropped many more last night. Yet Mahomes was still making throws when pressured--his receivers just weren't catching the ball.
